i'd like an order of seafoam green and peacock blue, please || manila destination wedding photographer

what?! well it IS make-it-what-you-want monday here on the blog.. :)

no, seriously, it’s the colour scheme i’m thinking of doing downstairs in our house, slowly and eventually. i found some pictures in a better homes magazine that was in my beloved chiropractor’s office a month or more ago and i took them with my iphone - i just took them off there now. and i’m so inspired!

albeit our house doesn’t look like this on the outside, the inside is basic white and dark wood..we can make this work, i think! some recovering of cushions (which our landlord said we could!), some new curtains, some colour…and knowing me, it will be on a dime..so my eyes are officially peeled for these amazing colours that, to me, bring so much serenity and calm…it will really be lovely downstairs..

some other lovely things i have found on the interwebs, throught PINTEREST, that are fantastic ideas to integrate into this…

i think this in a darker seafoam green, no?

and i love the idea of maps - since i was little and my dad got the national geo mags, i always swiped the maps and they made it to my bedroom walls..who knew that from such an early age i would love to travel so much? :) and as a kid i barely really traveled. funny.

anyhow, i wouldn’t frame them like this, but i want to have maps of places i have been..will have to find some more inspiration on how i will display them… :)

I love this post. You make me happy...I have a lot of these colors in my house and it just makes me smile. I especially love all the drapes in corner and with a house as big as yours, with a lot of angles and "sharp" areas...you could use cloth to soften and make it flow. Beautiful...love the "we do" painted on the wall too!
