one thing that i dont leave home without anymore is my iPhone 4. not because i have to text. not because i just GOT to check my facebook. but because i have a camera. in my pocket. that i can pull out at any given time and photograph the world i live in.

more and more i use my iphone for “everyday” shots and less my DSLR. it’s convenient. the quality is enough to make photobooks. and it’s fun to have different apps to edit your favorite shots on.

some of my favorite apps for taking photographs are camera+ and proHDR (yes i totally do iphone HDR. that’s where it ends for me..hehehehe). i use my ultra fave app INSTAGRAM to post my photos to the world.

in fact…i would love to travel and just use an iPhone. i plan to use mostly just my iPhone my next trip to Italy. there are a couple of places i’ll pull out the big dogs but i plan to capture via iPhone. cool hey? :)

when i was in turkey last november for an assignment with Lonely Planet Philippines Magazine, i took my iPhone as well. i’m pretty happy with the snaps. i would even go as far to say that if these were the only photos i had of turkey, i’d be happy and would show them off in print and photo album form.

today i’m taking you on my tour to turkey…from istanbul to cappadocia to izmir to istanbul again. i hope you enjoy the trip. it’s very image heavy.. over 50 actually..so sit back and relax. :)
