last september, myself along with travel photographer ferdz decena embarked on something new, not only in the philippines but in asia. we started the first SMUG group.

what is SMUG? it’s basically a bunch of photographer nuts - be it professional, hobbyists or wannabees - who come together once a month and either have a special speaker, go on photo wanders, do something for the community or party together. :) really. :)

we have had the pleasure of having speaker edwin martinez and jo avila, both CANON BRAND AMBASSADORS. we went to TAAL TOWN on a photo wander. and there are also photo contests and giveaways! it’s awesome. but the best part - we are a bunch of lovers of all things PHOTOGRAPHY, getting together, sharing our new toys, sharing the latest photo news, listening to amazing speakers. it’s AWESOME.

this month we are having ALY REYES as our special speaker! it will be awesome. you don’t want to miss it.

we meet at WABI SABI restaurant in The Collective in Makati on Malugay Street at 7pm.
